The 9th grade AYD Academy prepares students to be successful in high school. Students will think differently about learning, become committed to high achievement, build relationships that will support them in high school, and improve math skills to be ready for Algebra I. There is also a portion of each day set aside for English Language Arts curriculum. The program will provide students with all of the tools they need for good grades in high school.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to earn a 1/2 elective credit. Students must be enrolled in an RRPS high school for Fall 2022 in order for the credit to be applied. Students may not be absent for more than 1 day during the AYD program. Students who miss more than 1 day will be withdrawn from the program and will not receive the 1/2 credit. Attendance is critical!
RRPS students entering 9th Grade in the upcoming 2022-2023 school year are eligible for AYD Academy.
