• 6th grade Robotics is a stepping stone or pathway to a possible career path.

• Focus on skill building: Even if you haven’t taken art before or don’t feel confident in your art skills, we will focus on building skills and confidence.  Students refine basic art techniques like shading, color theory, and composition while exploring different media such as pencils, paint, and clay.

• Creative Expression: While building skills, we will also explore personal expression—students are encouraged to bring their own ideas and emotions into their work while learning how to talk about art respectfully.

• Art History & Cultural Exposure: Students will be exposed to a range of artists and art from different cultures and time periods, helping them see how art connects to history and society. 

• This course teaches important life skills, including basic cooking, nutrition, and sewing.

•  Students will learn kitchen safety, how to use tools, and simple cooking techniques. 

• They will practice following recipes, measuring ingredients, and making healthy food choices on a budget. 

• Learning by Doing - Students gain practical experience by building projects, using popular platforms such as Google, Microsoft, and Canva.  

• Stay Safe Online - Student lessons include “how-to tips” on online safety, privacy, and being kind on the internet.

• Building Future Skill - Students learn practical skills, including coding basics, spreadsheets, and typing skills, which give students a head‑start for high‑school tech classes and careers.

• Middle school PE is everyday and you will dress out everyday in the PE uniform.

• Introduction to various activities, developing basic skills in team sports, while incorporating individual activities and fundamental movement skills, with an emphasis on physical fitness.

• Sportsmanship and healthy habits are also promoted.

• Performing and engaging in class activities to the best of your individual abilities. Be ready to work hard and play even harder.
