Chromebook
Plug in and charge your Chromebook for at least 30 minutes before turning it on. When it’s charged and you open the Chromebook it will automatically turn on. Connect the Chromebook to your home wifi or hotspot.

Chromebook Student login and Password
As soon as you complete your registration, please email antonia.bynum@rrps.net to get your students password set up.
The username for your student will be in the form of an email address (id#@s.rrps.net), but middle school students do not have the permissions to send and receive email. Their email address is only used for logging into their Chromebook and Chrome account.
How do Students log in with their RRPS accounts from home?
You can open up the RRPS Chromebook or any web browser from any device and sign into your RRPS account, just go to accounts.google.com and sign in!
PowerSchool
PowerSchool is where students and parents can see students assigned classes and current grades as the year progresses. When you register, you will receive a paper that has the student's username and password to access PowerSchool. (**this is a different than your username and password for the Chromebook**)

How do I reset my password in Powerschool if I am a parent? Please go to Powerschool and click the "reset" password button
**It takes 24-48 hours for the student account to sync to Clever, Google Classroom and Edgenuity. When you log into the Chromebook you will click on the Chrome icon at the bottom of the screen. Clever will be the first page that pops up. Click-Sign in with Google. Clever is the place where you will find your link to Google Classroom and Edgenuity. Using your class schedule, please go into Google Classroom and visit all the teacher's classroom pages.
