I am proud to say that I have been in education for 17 years and during that time I have had the opportunity to be a teacher and a leader.  I began my career in Northern California where I was an elementary teacher in a K-8 school.  I moved to Rio Rancho in 2008 and taught at Vista Grande Elementary School for 8 years, was an Elementary Instructional Coach for Vista Grande Elementary and Enchanted Hills Elementary, the Assistant Principal of Cielo Azul Elementary, and am now in my 5th year as Principal of Puesta del Sol Elementary.  I enjoy spending time with my four children, my three grandchildren, and very much love the outdoors including hiking, gardening, and walking my dog.  I am so proud to be the principal of PDSE and am honored to work alongside our hardworking staff, our Puesta students, and our dedicated families.
