Coach Henson was born and raised in Connecticut and then served 6 years as a linguist in  the US Navy. She went on to earn a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and holds a level three teaching license with endorsements in physical education, science, and social studies. Coach Henson has worked at Puesta del Sol since 2015, where she has taught a variety of grade levels and subjects.  She has a passion for Physical Education and Nutrition and hopes that by sharing her enthusiasm for fitness and health she will help students create and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
