Welcome to Mr. Marez's class web page.

My name is Jimmy Marez, and this is my twelfth year of teaching at Sandia Vista Elementary. I am so pleased to have your child in my class this year. I am excited about getting to know each of you and opening new areas of learning for your child. Teaching children is a great love of mine. I want your child to look back on their third grade experience with fond memories. To make this happen, we have a lot of fun and exciting things planned.

Third grade is a giant step in your child's learning foundation. I will do everything I can to help your child at school, but third grade will require some help at home as well. This is a very intense grade and covers a lot of skills that are new to children.
