Ms. Huey

About Me:

Lauren Huey was born in Austin, Texas, and was raised in both Texas and New Mexico. She attended V. Sue Cleveland High School for her junior and senior year. This means that she knows what it is like to be a student at Cleveland. This also means she has really strong Storm pride.

After graduation Lauren went to the University of Arkansas to study Animal Science. She received her BS in Animal Science with minors in Equine Science and Social Work. While in college she was part of Sigma Phi Lambda, and worked full time at various Behavioral Healthcare companies. She also worked as a volunteer TA for a equine training class.

Lauren loves to be outdoors, and would prefer to be out hiking, camping or fishing rather than be indoors. In the future she would like to visit as many of the national parks, forests and other national lands as possible. She also loves owls, and you will likely see plenty of owl things around the classroom. Fine tea and coffee are her favorite drinks and cooking is a passion.
