My name is Amanda Wilkins and I am happy to be working here at Independence High School. This is my seventh year here at IHS teaching English/Language Arts. This is my eighth year in the RRPS district as an educator.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Education from New Mexico State University in 2011. In 2022, I also received my Special Education certificate from CNM. I was born and raised here in Rio Rancho and am a product of the Rio Rancho Public School system, class of 2007 from RRHS.
