About Us

My name is Nurse Andrea and I am the nurse at Cielo Azul Elementary School.  Prior to becoming a nurse, I was an orthodontic assistant and a stay-at-home mom. I graduated  in August of  2021 with an RN from CNM and a BSN from UNM through the dual degree program and started working at Cielo Azul in February of 2022.  I love working with students and their families and getting a chance to know them and watch them grow.  Our goal in the Cielo Azul Health Office is to help our students be healthy and ready to learn.

My name is Mrs. Amy and I am the Health Assistant at Cielo Azul Elementary School. I have worked as an education assistant at Cielo Azul for almost 10 years and became the Health Assistant in August of  2023. Prior to coming to Cielo Azul, I worked as a medical assistant in a podiatry office, where I learned that emergencies can come up at any time. Having worked there helped me to be able to come into this position with confidence in my abilities to handle all types of situations in the health office. My goal is to help students and staff feel comfortable when they come to the Health Office knowing they will be taken care of. I have gotten to know students on a more personal level which is the reason I love my job.
