School Nurse:   Shelley Martinez

My name is Shelley Martinez, this is my second year being the school nurse at Colinas Del Norte Elementary. 

A few things about myself. I'm a native to New Mexico. I'm married and have 3 children, 2 adult sons and  a son who attends Cleveland High School.  

 I'm a registered nurse with a bachelor of science degree  in nursing. I began my nursing career 13 years ago at a local hospital on a mother/baby unit and then on a  family birthing unit.  

My goal is to team with parents and students to  ensure your student's health and safety  are  met while they are at school.

I am a married mom of two children currently attending college. I have worked as a Health Assistant at CdNE  for 15 years and had volunteered as a CdNE  PTA Board member for 5 years prior to that. I am happy to work alongside Nurse Shelley to provide the best care possible for our students.
