MRS. DAVILA
Hello our dear Colinas community! My name is Shelly Davila and when we return for the 25/26 school year on August 4th, I will become the counselor for our 1st, 3rd and 5th grade students. I love working with my students and building trusting relationships.
My goal is to assist students in developing social and emotional skills needed to be successful in school. I incorporate a whole child approach and will provide lessons on social/emotional growth, facilitate groups and work with students individually as needed. Please contact me if you need any assistance with your child or you have concerns or questions! You may reach me @ (505) 962-4513 or Shelly.Davila@rrps.net. Looking forward to another great school year!
Hello, Colinas Del Norte Elementary families! My name is Samantha Abeyta and I will be working with Kinder, 2nd grade, and 4th grade for the 25-26 school year. I am passionate about supporting elementary students as they navigate their social, emotional, and academic journeys. I believe that every child is resilient and capable of growth. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. Through classroom lessons, small groups, and individual support, I look forward to helping your students develop the skills they need to build confidence, solve problems, and thrive in school and beyond.
