Important Dates at a Glance:
May 18th - Official Senior Check-out day @ the CHS Gym Mezzanine (9:30 am - 2:00 pm) - All seniors required to attend
May 21st or May 22nd - Legacy Walk (Please read below for access to the form)
May 22nd - Graduation Ticket Pick-Up at the Activities office (3:00 pm - 5:30 pm) - Only the Graduate can pick up the tickets
May 26th- Graduation Rehearsal at Rio Rancho Events Center (4:00 pm) - Mandatory Attendance. Dress for rehearsals casually. Graduates will receive their cap and gown at rehearsal. If you purchased a cap and gown, it will come with everything you need. If you are using a previous graduate's cap and gown, you will need to make sure you have a 2026 tassel. Your graduate will be able to purchase tassels at graduation for $10 if you do not have one.
May 27th- CHS Graduation at Rio Rancho Events Center (10:00 am) - Doors open at 8 am

Sign up to visit one of our feeder elementary schools for the Legacy Walk! This is a special opportunity to walk the halls one last time and inspire the elementary students who will one day become part of the Storm family. As a former elementary teacher, I loved celebrating the seniors during this tradition —it’s truly a humbling and memorable experience.
Parents are welcome to join the celebration! Come watch your senior walk the halls one last time at their elementary school. If your student attended a different elementary school in Rio Rancho, please contact that school directly for more information.
Below are the dates and times for each feeder elementary school. Please arrive at your chosen school 30 minutes before the listed time.
Students participating in the Legacy Walk will pick up their cap and gown on Tuesday, May 19th, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
