February 6th - Deadline to Apply for Academic Letter
February 6th - Deadline to purchase a Senior Ad in Yearbook
February 13th - Deadline for Middle Name on Diploma
February 14th - Deadline to Purchase Cap and Gown
March 13th - Deadline to Turn in Graduation Contracts to Activities office or English Teacher
May 18th - Official Senior Check-out day in CHS Gym (9:30am - 2:00pm) - All seniors required to attend
May 21st or May 22nd - Legacy Walk (Google Form sent out in late April/Early May)
May 22nd - Graduation Ticket Pick-Up at Activities office (3:00pm - 5:30pm) - Only the Graduate can pick up the tickets
May 26th- Graduation Rehearsal at Rio Rancho Events Center (4:00pm) - Mandatory Attendance
May 27th- CHS Graduation at Rio Rancho Events Center (10:00am) - Doors open at 9am
Seniors,
It is getting closer to graduation, and we will be ordering diplomas soon. If you would like your middle name included on your diploma, please click here to complete the Google Form. If the form is not submitted, your diploma will be printed using the name as it appears in PowerSchool (example: Michael D. Doe). The diploma is a legal document and must match the name listed on your birth certificate.
The submission deadline is February 13. Requests submitted after this date will not be accepted, as diplomas will already be in production.
Don’t forget — on February 3 and 4, all seniors will meet with their English teachers and me in the lecture hall to review graduation requirements, the graduation contract, and the number of tickets each student will receive for the ceremony.
The deadline for senior ads for the yearbook is February 6.

The 2025-2026 Academic Letter Consideration Form is now open! This recognition is available to juniors and seniors who meet the eligibility criteria.
Juniors must have achieved a 3.5 GPA in both semesters of their freshman and sophomore years.
Seniors must have completed four semesters with a 3.5 GPA or higher or have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Seniors seeking their second-year academic letter must have earned a 3.5 GPA during at least one semester of their junior year.
For more details, please review the form. If you believe your junior or senior qualifies, the form must be completed by Friday, February 6th, at 8:00 PM. This is a firm deadline, and submissions received after this time will not be considered.
Parents and students do not need to provide grade reports, as we will verify eligibility.
