My name is Lori Sollenberger. My students usually call me Mrs. Solly. This is my 17th year teaching and my 15th year in third grade. I consider teaching to be a calling, and I am so fortunate to have been called to this incredibly rewarding career. Having the opportunity to help influence and shape not only the minds of my students, but also their hearts and spirits is something I feel fortunate to do. I believe our classroom should be a safe place to try hard things, make mistakes, and grow. On a personal note, I am lucky to have also been called to the ultimate job of motherhood. I have a daughter, Laney Mae, who will turn seven in October and a son, MJ, who is four years old. My husband Mike and I have been married for 12 years. I love reading, cooking, biking, and spending time with my family.
