Thanks for visiting. Exploring Technology is a nine-week course that investigates different areas of technology. Students will gain an understanding of the alternative methods to produce energy, along with looking into five major areas of technology such as biotechnology, construction, engineering, communication, and transportation, which are constantly changing in the world around us. As a delivery method, students will be introduced to Google’s online collaboration suite called Google Docs. Using Google Docs, students will learn how to collaborate using programs similar to the Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively in and out of the classroom. Topics involving information literacy will also be addressed.
