Hello! my name is Miranda Wammes and I will be your child's first grade teacher.

I am originally from Fremont, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio Northern University in 2022 with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a duel license in Mild/Moderate Special Education. I went on to earn my Reading Endorsement and M.Ed in Curriculum and Teaching from BGSU in 2024.

I spent one year teaching third grade at a parochial school, and the following two years teaching first grade for Fremont City Schools. This past school year, I moved to the Cleveland area and worked as a Special Education Interventionist at Kensington Intermediate School here in the Rocky River City School District.

Some of my favoritie things include spending time with my family in Marblehead, OH, cheering on Cleveland sports teams with my boyfriend, taking my dog Brew on long walks, running, reading, and trying new coffee shops!
