Meet Mrs. Ziemann

Hello, my name is Mrs. Ziemann and I am a Kindergarten teacher here at Goldwood Primary School.  My goal is to help students have a unforgettable Kindergarten year where the students gain skills, confidence, and become lifelong learners. I have been at Goldwood for 6 years and have enjoyed my time here with students, staff, parents/caretakers, and the River community.  I feel extremely lucky to be able to work with all students.  Coming to Goldwood every day and seeing eager to learn faces is the best part of my day!

I am originally from New Jersey, growing up in the famous Hoboken (home of baseball, Frank Sinatra, and Cake Boss).  I grew up with lots of extended family which was never boring and always comforting.  

I attended Montclair State University and began my teaching career in 2002.  I taught in New Jersey for 14 years and learned so much.  What I love most about the teaching profession is seeing and being a part of the enormous progress students make in a single school year.

I have been living in Lakewood for 8 years and love that I can walk to wherever I need to go.  I live with my husband, 2 sons, and my dog Rusty!!  

I am looking forward to working hard with this year's fantastic group and applauding all their successes!!!
