Hello! My name is Tara Young. I am an intervention specialist and the Goldwood Learning Resources Coordinator. Teaching is my passion. I truly can't imagine spending my days doing anything else!
This will be my 21st year teaching elementary school. I have taught 3rd grade, kindergarten, and special education in grades kindergarten through 6th grade. I earned a bachelor's degree from Baldwin-Wallace University in Early Childhood Education PreK-3 and Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist K-12. I also earned a Reading Endorsement and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I grew up a few hours away in Lisbon, Ohio and moved to the Cleveland area to attend Baldwin-Wallace. My husband Shaun and I moved our family to Rocky River because we fell in love with the beautiful community and wanted our children to attend the excellent schools! My son Trey is in 12th grade and my daughter Elle is in 9th grade. I love reading, the beach, going out to eat with my family and traveling.
