Hi! I am so happy you are here. I hope this website provides you with information about our classroom & many great resources to use with your child throughout the school year. This is my 12th year teaching special education, and my 11th year at Goldwood. I am so excited to work with your child as their intervention specialist! I will be your go to person for all things related to your child's IEP and services. I will work closely with your child's general education teacher, and provide support within the classroom, too. We will also work together as a team to best meet your child's needs so please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Any notable changes, concerns you may have for their progress, questions about their services, or just a quick check-in are always welcomed and helpful. Teaching is my passion and together we can make this school year AMAZING!
I grew up in North Ridgeville and recently moved back here with my husband, Matt. We bought my grandparents' home, and have been working on renovating it into our dream family home for the past few years. We welcomed our first son, Cohen on March 3rd 2024, and I am fully enjoying being a first time mom. We also have a cat and 2 dogs (all pictured above). Our dogs names' are Winston and Vern, and they are full of energy! Our cat's name is Hov, and he loves to take naps. In my free time I love to read, bake, spend time outside, practice yoga, and spend time with my family and friends. I am a huge Cleveland Guardians fan and love Starbucks coffee!
I graduated from The Ohio State University with my Bachelors of Science in K-12 Special Education in 2014. I received my Master’s from Cleveland State University in Educational Technology in 2019. I am Wilson trained and recently received my LETRS certification. I am excited to work with you and your child this year!
