Welcome to the Goldwood Art Studio!
In our K–2 art classroom, students explore their creativity, experiment with new materials, and learn to express themselves through visual arts. Throughout the school year, young artists develop fine motor skills, discover color theory, and build confidence through hands-on creative projects.
Explore Materials: Working with paint, clay, paper, drawing tools, and mixed media.
Learn Concepts: Discovering line, shape, color, texture, and form in everyday life and famous artwork.
Creative Problem Solving: Encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and unique self-expression.
Ask About Their Work: Have your child tell you the story behind what they created!
Art at Home: Keeping scrap paper, crayons, or safety scissors accessible at home is a great way to keep creative energy flowing.
Thank you for supporting the arts at Goldwood!
