About Me

The Basics

My name is Mrs. Raffin and I am the Gifted Coordinator and Intervention Specialist at Goldwood Primary School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in 2000 from Bowling Green State University. My graduate work was completed at Cleveland State University and I received my Masters in Education in 2003. I took a little time away to stay at home with my children while they were babies. In 2019, my Gifted Endorsement was completed through Ashland University. I love being a teacher in Rocky River!

I live in Rocky River with my husband, Dominic, and our two children, Jake and Penny. We have three crazy Boston Terriers named Norman, Carl, and Oscar!

Fun Facts:

I coach the Varsity Volleyball team at RRHS.
I enjoy cooking.
Mr. Raffin and I were born on the same day, in the same year, and in the same hospital! We always have fun celebrating our birthday together!

Meet the kids...

My son Jake is in his first year at The Ohio State University studying finance. My daughter Penny attends the middle school. Playing volleyball is a true passion for her.
