We use the past simple to talk about definite time in the past (often we specify when something happened, e.g. yesterday, three weeks ago, last year, when I was young)
Affirmative: S(singular) + V2. , S(plural) + V2.
Negative: S(singular) + didn't + V infinitive. , S(plural) + didn't + V infinitive.
Interrogative: Did + S(singular) + V infinitive? , Did + S(plural) + V infinitive?
