Early College Revere
Revere Early College offers students the opportunity to earn as many as 30 college credits for FREE, while still in high school.
The classes are all taught by North Shore Community College Professors.
Early College provides the benefit of Dual Enrollment, but you can take TWO classes instead of only one AND classes are all within the regular school day.
You will get a head start on college!
Here are a few ways that we will help support students in the EC program:
Career exploration workshops
Note taking and other study skill strategies
Choosing a college major
Referrals for Tutoring and other support services
Community Service Opportunities
College financial aid workshops
Field trips to local colleges
Office Hours with Professors
Courses such as Composition 1, Psychology, Speech, Statistics, Criminal Justice, Nutrition, Body in Health and Disease, World in the 20th Century, Composition 2 and others will enable students to complete many general education requirements (required for most associate and bachelor’s degrees) before they even graduate high school! That is the equivalent of one full year of college! For free! Credits will transfer to all MA public colleges and universities. Private colleges and universities transfer policies will vary.
