Rosie is a two year old golden retriever that loves to be petted and loved by everyone. At a very young age she displayed behaviors that I, as her owner, thought would make her a perfect candidate for being in the service of Animal Assisted Therapy. As a team, we worked on basic obedience training and she showed a high willingness to please those around her. Rosie received her AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Certification and began volunteering as a trainee for Tioga High School’s first Therapy Animal. Rosie and I, along with the loving people at Pet Partners, were officially certified as a therapy team in June 2023. Rosie is so excited to share her love with all the faculty, staff, and students of Tioga High School. Her presence brings nothing but smiles and positive energy to all.
