Parents and students, please read this information and email specific teachers if you are still not sure about how to connect with each class. All teacher emails are first.lastname@rpsb.us

• Students please use your school email to communicate with teachers and log in to Google Classes. If you have trouble accessing documents, make sure you are logged out of any other Gmail accounts other than your school account.

• Virtual Students must log in to each class daily and attendance will be checked by each teacher. Get your schedule in PowerSchool. Some teachers may require students to log in at a specific time (When the face-to-face class is meeting). These teachers will tell you on their site or by email if you need to meet at a specific time. Hybrid students log in the same way on the days they are at home.

• Attendance is recorded when students log in to the platform each teacher uses. See Google Classroom and Schoology above. These two online class systems are similar but teachers chose the one that was best for the course material.

Two great resources for high school students are the ACT Academy (a free site produced by ACT that provides practice tests, quizzes, and video tutorials for free). https://academy.act.org/ and Modern States, which is a site with the goal of "First year of college for free" by providing 30 CLEP (College Level Examination Program) courses for free and allows students to earn a voucher to take a free CLEP test at PHS. The test normally costs $87 and may replace a college course that could cost $1000. https://modernstates.org/
