Hello everyone! My name is Melissa Humphries. This year will be my 30th year of teaching in Rapides Parish and my third year as a Bolton Bear. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in education from Louisiana State University and my Master's of Education in gifted education from Northwestern State University.
My family life is very busy! I've been married for 30 years. I have three children: my eldest recently married her Coast Guard love, my Marine son Is married to his Marine love, and my youngest is starting her junior year at Bolton. I have two horses, two dogs, and two cats. I love harvesting veggies from my garden, but my favorite thing to do at home is cook because I love trying new recipes.
