Christy Roberts

Mrs. Christy Roberts has been the Assistant Principal at Ball Elementary since 2018 and acting principal since 2022. She served as a classroom teacher from 1992-2014. She taught 4th through 8th grade. She was also the assistant principal at North Bayou Rapides for 3 years. She has been married since 1992 to her husband Donnie. They have two amazing children, Bo and Grace. They are her biggest accomplishments. Mrs. Roberts' passion is education and children! Her hobby passions are singing and photography!

Lauren Lloyd

Mrs. Lauren Lloyd has been teaching since 2001 and has been part of the Ball Elementary family since 2006. She has taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, library, and computer lab at Ball Elementary. She served as our Lead teacher for 3 years and is now our acting assistant principal.  She married Joey Lloyd in 1997 and has 3 amazing children. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Elizabeth (Mathews) Bruce


Ms. Mathews has been a teacher at Ball for over 15 years, most of those teaching 3rd grade Reading. After so much time in the classroom, she is looking forward to her new role as Lead Teacher!

5th and 6th Grade

Naomi Fuselier

Mrs. Fuselier was born and raised in Mamou, La. She graduated from Louisiana College, with a degree in Education. She has been teaching upper grades at Ball Elementary since 2013. She is happily married to her husband, Luke Fuselier, and they have two little boys. Mrs. Fuselier loves working with the youth at her church, and she enjoys painting doorhangers and signs on her spare time! .

Stacey Martin

 Mrs. Stacey Martin will be joining our 5th/6th grade team this year! Mrs. Martin has been teaching for 28 years in which she has taught special education for 19 years, 5th grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade ELA for 7 years. Mrs. Martin loves spending time with her 2 year old grandson, Ryan. She has one son, Nicolas Bell, 25 years old, and two step sons, Justin Martin, 22 years old, & Dalton Martin, 18 years old. He has been married to her loving husband, Alton Martin III, for 13 years now. Mrs. Martin enjoys reading a good book, and she loves to deer hunt.

Jessica Nichols

Mrs. Nichols is our 5th and 6th grade Science teacher. She moved from Kansas to Louisiana with her husband of ten years and their two children. This will be her sixth year teaching in the Louisiana school system. Mrs. Nichols has a love for cooking, running, and spending time with her family. She obtained her degree and certification from Northwestern State University.

Morgan Bourque

 Mrs. Morgan Bourque grew up just east of College Station, TX and obtained her Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University. She moved to Louisiana with her husband and obtained her teaching certificate and Masters of Educational Leadership from Louisiana College after moving here. She has been teaching within the Louisiana school system for 7 years now. Her husband and she have a son who is 6 and she gained a bonus daughter when she married him, she is 17 years old. Mrs. Bourque is an old soul with a traveler's heart. She loves a good road trip. She also is a strong advocate for growth mindset and believing in the power of “yet” within her life and her classroom! She is blessed to be in this position and loves to see where it takes her from year to year. Mrs. Bourque teaches Math to our 5th and 6th grade students.

3rd and 4th Grade

Nicole Campbell

Mrs. Campbell grew up right here in our Tioga/Ball community! She attended Northwestern State University to receive a Bachelor's degree in social work. After working in the social work field for several years, she decided to follow her true dream of being a teacher.  After a few more years of college at Louisiana College she received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Since then she has taught for 15 years (14 of those years at Ball)! Mrs. Campbell enjoys spending time with her four children and her granddaughter.  She also enjoys traveling, shopping and naps! She enjoys forming new relationships each year with her students and loves to watch their love for math grow!

Ashley Doyle

Mrs. Doyle will be returning to Ball Elementary for her third year. She has been teaching for 11 years in grades 2-5. Her favorite part of reading is seeing students have an emotional response & connection to books & their characters. Mrs. Doyle has been married to Coach Rickey Doyle for 9 years & they have 2 dogs-Brutus & Bane. For fun, she enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, travelling, playing volleyball, kickboxing, & having game nights with her friends. Mrs. Doyle is excited to be teaching ELA to our 3rd & 4th graders this year.

Erica Gori

Mrs. Gori graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2016. She is married and has 3 girls whose ages are 16, 13, and 10. She is a veteran of the Army and has moved all over the country in the last 16 years. She enjoys reading, tending to her many house plants, and being outside. Mrs. Gori will be teaching Social Studies in 3rd and 4th grade.

Justin Knowlton

Mr. Justin Knowlton graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University – Idaho, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from LSU – Shreveport. After obtaining his Bachelor’s and working a few odd jobs he landed at Ball in 2018. Since his arrival he has worked as our Lead Special Education Teacher and as the 4th/5th grade Science teacher. He is excited to continue sharing his passion for Science with the 3rd/4th graders this year! He and his wife, who is also an educator, love to travel the world and explore. He enjoys reading, playing board games and eating delicious food.

2nd Grade

Judi Mixon

Mrs. Judi Mixon graduated from NSU.  Her time with the RPSB began as a substitute teacher in 2006. She became a special education paraprofessional and moved up in various jobs with the district. Before Mrs. Mixon began teaching at Ball Elementary she was a non-degree accountant. She has three grown children; one of which is a teacher at TJH! She has three beautiful granddaughters and has been married for 33 years.

Marica Milliner

Mrs. Marica Milliner is a proud LSU graduate where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1997. She has been teaching at Ball Elementary for 26 years...her whole career!! She loves her Ball family! She taught 3rd grade for 1 year, 4th grade for 13 years and is currently teaching 2nd grade, which she has taught for 12 years! Second grade is her heart! She has been married to her husband, Robert, for 27 years and they have three wonderful children, Meghen, Taylor, and Carter! She also has a wonderful grandson who she loves to spend time with any chance that she can. She has another grandson on the way in September! In her spare time she loves reading, watching LSU, and spending time with her family! Her favorite place to relax is at the beach(her happy place) with a good book!

Bethany Baudin

Bethany Baudin has been teaching at Ball Elementary all of her teaching career. In the 15 years at Ball, she has taught a variety of ages from prek-6th grade. 2nd grade is her absolute favorite. She enjoys watching them come to 2nd grade still learning to read and transitioning into being readers to learn about thing! Mrs. Baudin enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 kids. They love to travel and camp together!

1st Grade

Megan McVay

Ms. McVay joined us full time for the 2023-2024 school year. She graduated from the University of Louisiana in Monroe last year and joined our staff. Ms. McVay has teaching in her blood as the daughter of Mrs. McVay- who taught with us at Ball Elementary for several years.

Destiny Mayeux

Mrs. Destiny Mayeux graduated from Northwestern State University in 2011. She has been teaching at Ball Elementary for 11.5 years The past six years she has been teaching first grade. First grade is her favorite! She has two sons: Remi (10) and Sawyer (6). In her free time she loves to read and spend time with her family.

Franki Tackett

Miss Tackett graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana College and has been teaching for 10 years. She spent 4 of those years teaching 1st grade and 6 years teaching 6th-8th grade. After years in middle school, she’s excited to get back to the grade that made her love being a teacher. First grade! In her free time, she enjoys reading, cheering for her students at all the sporting events, and singing on the worship team at church.

Heather Johns

Ms. Heather joined our staff this fall. She has 2 daughters that she adores. She enjoys crafting. She is currently in school to continue her education career.

Sarah  St. Romain

Mrs. Sarah St.Romain has been teaching for 15 years. She is married to her husband Ben and they have 2 kids, Natalie(15) and Fisher (7). She joined our Ball Elementary last year and has become an important part of our Kindergarten Ball family.

Anna Dardar

Ms. Dardar returned to us this year as one of our Kindergarten teachers. Her teaching experience began with our autism students last year. Ms. Dardar's family consist of 1 brother and her parents. Her mom has been at Tioga Junior High for many years.

PreKindergarten

Angela Miller

Angela Miller graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth-5). She has worked in the field of Early Childhood for over 30 yrs and spent 25 of those years in the Pre-K classroom. Her extensive training includes observing Infant, Toddler as well as Pre-K classrooms; using Conscious Discipline techniques; & curriculum development. On weekends, she loves spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren & her puppy, Lucy. She enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking and camping.

Sarah McCoy

Mrs. Sarah McCoy is a Pre-K Paraprofessional. This is her 5th year as a Para at Ball Elementary. She has been married for 14 years and has 3 amazing daughters. She loves crafting, running, and is very passionate about supporting and raising money for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Courtney Brown


Courtney Brown received her Masters of Education degree in teaching from NSU and this will be her 7th year teaching.  She will be sharing her knowledge from Kindergarten as a pre-kindergarten teacher this year. She loves being a Bobcat with her 2 daughters, Izzy and Gigi!

Kaitlyn Wheeler

Ms. Kaitlyn Wheeler graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2022. She is new to Ball Elementary as a Pre-K para. She is a proud Alumni of Tioga High School. She enjoys spending time with her cats that are her fur-babies, Reese's and Winnie the Pooh.

Jaymee Hayes

Mrs. Hayes (Ms. McFarland) has been at Ball Elementary for 6 years now. She started in 3rd grade and moved to 1st grade where she loved seeing her students grow. This year she is excited to work with 3rd and 4th grade special education students. She is married to her husband Jeremy and they have two little boys Landry(8) and Rip(2). She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son Landry play baseball.

Kaytlyn Richard

Mrs.  Kaytlyn Richard has been teaching for 13 years. This will be her 4th year at Ball Elementary in Special Education. She is married to her husband, Shelby and together they have two boys- Caleb, who is 6 and Jacob who just turned 4! When not teaching she enjoys spending time with her friends and family-  traveling, being outdoors, fishing, camping, gardening, and enjoying music. She is always up for a trip or an adventure somewhere! She loves teaching with our amazing students and teachers at Ball Elementary.

Barbara Kaufman

Mrs. Barbara Kaufman has been a Kindergarten teacher for most of her teaching life. This year she will be joining the Special Education team in our Autistic program. She is married to her husband, Dave and they have a very large family together. Her favorite past times are reading, working outside, and family get togethers. She loves ALL of her Ball Elementary kiddos!

Kandyce Andries

Mrs. Kandyce Andries will be joining our special education team for the 23-24 school year. She is bringing with her 15 years of teaching experience from YCP and 25 years of teaching experience from Sylvan Learning. Mrs. Andries enjoys growing plants and flowers.

Brandi Trapp

Mrs. Brandi Trapp has been a ParaEducator for 11 years. She has worked with all elementary and Jr. High grade levels as either an autisim or child specific Para. She has been married for 21 years to Jason Trapp and they have 1 daughter, Lillian, that will be attending TJH as a 7th grader this school year. She and her husband also have a small trucking company that has been in business since 2016. Mrs. Trapp's hobbies are fishing, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Isabella Tarver

This is my first year at Ball Elementary as a paraprofessional, but I attended elementary here and helped teach here in summer of 2021! I am eager to get back to seeing students and watching them grow daily! I am also excited to be working alongside great teachers to help students reach their fullest potential! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and loving on my new puppy!

Bridget Simmons

This is Ms. Bridget she has been at Ball Elementary as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. She recently became a certified paraprofessional. She has 3 amazing children. A daughter at Tioga High, A son at Tioga Jr High and a son at Ball Elementary. She enjoys being with family, getting pampered and living life.

Terri Perkins

Terri Perkins has been in the school system for 28 and half years, as a PE teacher and Assistant principal! She is excited to be at Ball Elementary and coming back to her community! She was born and raised in Ball and even attended Ball Elementary! She loves to travel with her family, especially going to Disney World!

Nancy Juneau

Mrs. Nancy Juneau has been a teacher at Ball Elementary for 27 years. She has taught in various grade levels. She enjoys working at Ball Elementary and leading in our Art program

Brittany Rhoades

Mrs. Brittany Rhoades will be starting her 8th year of teaching and joining our Specials team this year! Mrs. Rhoades has been married to her husband, Ethan, for 6 years. Mrs. Rhoades loves spending time with her two year old twin boys, Beau and Casen.  As of February, they also welcomed a new baby girl to their family, and her name is Ellieanne. In her spare time, Mrs. Rhoades leads worship at His Church in Pineville, avidly reads, and spends as much time as she can loving on her family.

Jaclyn Edwards

Mrs. Jaclyn joined us in 2020-2021 and is an asset for our school. She is willing to help in any way possible and loves working with the students and staff. She works in the library, computer lab, and helps with run day with our students. Mrs. Edwards married her best friend Travis.

GT Arts Teacher- Adam Pettus

Mr. Pettus comes to teach our Gifted and Talented Art students once a week. The students love to learn techniques and explore new styles with him.

Nurse- Susan Coburn

Nurse Susan gives our students the best care when they are in need. She helps them to get back on the road to health and back into their classrooms to learn with their classmates as soon as possible.

Speech Therapist- Alayna Paul

Mrs. Alayna helps our students from Prek-6th grade to develop their speech skills. We are glad she has joined us this year.




Lunch Staff

Mrs. Tammy, Mrs.  Crystal, Mrs. Ivette , Mrs. Corina, and Mrs. Lenae give our students the best food and put a smile on their faces every day.

Custodial Staff

Mr. Austin and Ms. Carly  help to keep our students safe and provide a clean and inviting school for all who come through our doors. They are a big part of our Ball Elemenary family.
