Students must apply online on the Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy website. The online application requires:
Student contact information
Full name to be printed on certificate (including any accent marks or hyphens)
Current high school mailing address
Teacher name, phone number, and email address
Evidence of proficiency in English (submit PDF, original or scanned)
Students must submit official score reports of assessments. Each assessment document must:
Demonstrate evidence of proficiency between grades 9 and 12
Include the student’s full name
Be submitted in PDF format
Evidence of proficiency in other language (submit PDF, original or scanned)

The online application link is available during two application “seasons”— March/April in the spring and September/October in the fall. No late submissions are accepted once the application form is closed.
Important: We recommend that seniors submit their applications during the fall application season. There will be no exceptions for seniors who wait for the spring application season and miss the deadline.
The table below illustrates the assessments that qualify for evidence of proficiency as well as the minimum requirements for each.
Important: All score reports must
★ be official score reports or school transcripts that show official scores (original or scanned PDF).
★ include the student’s full name (printed, not handwritten).
★ demonstrate the assessment was completed in high school (grades 9-12).
No other documentation will be accepted.
