Members

The Student Advisory Committee consists of four members directly elected from the Rockport High School body.

Patrick Morin, Chairperson

Patrick is a Junior and is the president of the Rockport High School National Honor Society Chapter. He has also been involved in the music department playing saxophone in the band and jazz band. Patrick is also a member of the Spanish Club, a member of the math team, and the Green Team President. Patrick is an ambassador for the National Society of High School Scholars and a member of the National Torch and Laurel Society. As a Boy Scout in Troop 20, Patrick is currently an Eagle Scout. He is an alumnus of project 351 and is a member of the congress of future medical leaders. He aspires to be a cardiothoracic surgeon in the future and is working hard to achieve these goals.


Phoebe Twombly, Secretary

Phoebe Twombly is a Junior and class of 2022. She is an active member of both the school and outside community, organizing events like open mic nights to raise money for various organizations, and being a lifeguard during the summer. She is also a member of the Spanish club, orchestra, and tennis team. She is passionate about change, and aspires to be a professor in the future.

Jillian Osmond, Member

Jillian is a senior and a member of the class of 2022. She has been in the Rockport schools since she was in kindergarten. She is actively involved in Rockports music department and Theatre department. She plans to major in elementary education.

Nathaniel Kirby, Chairperson

Nathaniel is a senior at Rockport High School and has been a Rockport student since Kindergarten. He has been involved in the school in a variety of ways. Student government has been a major component of Nathaniel's work over the last four years. He believes that student involvement in decision making both protects the rights and freedom of students and helps to create the best education system possible, one that understands and responds to the needs of its students. To help increase communication between students and the administration, and to foster a culture of mutual trust and respect, Nathaniel became a founding member of the Student Advisory Committee in 2019. Beyond student government, Nathaniel has been a member of the Rockport High School math team since he was a freshman. He is also the current president of the Catherine E Churchill Chapter of the National Honor Society and the Rockport Public Schools Green Team. As a cellist, Nathaniel has been a part of the school's orchestra and the school's chamber music program. Nathaniel is planning to major in physics in college, but also has a passion for the environment, music, math, economics, and education.

Amanda Verga, Secretary

Amanda is a senior at Rockport High School. She is the Secretary of the Rockport Public Schools Green Team and an active member of the Math Team. Amanda has been a part of the Student Advisory Committee since her Junior year. She is interested in studying biology in college.

Noah Cook, Member

Noah Duncan Cook is the president of the class of 2021, and he has been on SAC since his Sophomore year. He participates in many school activities and works to better the community. He’s interested in studying in physical therapy and/or sports training at college.

Austin Matus, Member

Austin Matus is a junior and a proud member of the student advisory committee, he takes pride in his athletics being the captain of the soccer team and going onto his 2nd season as a captain for basketball. He participates in many school clubs, some being NHS, Peer Leaders, and TLT. He works hard to better the community and maintain the environment.
