Learn more about World BEYOND War

World BEYOND War is a global nonviolent movement to end war and establish a just and sustainable peace, with membership in 190 countries and chapters and affiliates around the world. They follow a two-pronged approach of peace education and nonviolent direct action organizing to dispel the myths of war, educate about its alternatives, and advocate for structural and cultural change. They received the Educators’ Challenge Award from the Global Challenges Foundation in partnership with the London School of Economics (LES) Institute of Global Affairs. The awards are presented to projects that effectively communicate and increase engagement among young people and the general public around global risks including war, climate change, and nuclear weapons.
