Dusseau's 4/5's

Over the past year and a half, I have had the opportunity to serve as a substitute teacher in preschool – 8th grade here at Royal Redeemer Lutheran School. Previously, I had taught as a full time teacher in preschool-3rd grade classes until God guided my husband, Chris, and me toward the adoption of our precious daughter. We are thrilled to have her join the school family as a second grader! We love going on nature walks and recently visited the beautiful northern region of Michigan including Mackinac Island.

May I introduce to you to my new friend, and assistant, Mrs. Mildred Arnold. She was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in Ohio for over 30 years. Her background is in engineering, but after raising three daughters, she decided to become a Spanish teacher. She taught for several years at a private school and then took a few years off to enjoy being a grandma. She likes helping children learn and then watching them apply what they have learned. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and tutoring students in Spanish. Her favorite ice cream is chocolate pecan! She is so glad to be part of the Royal Redeemer Lutheran School teaching staff. As she told me, “With God’s help, we are going to have an awesome school year!”
