*Daily ALEKS and Happy Numbers skills practice. These will be weekly classwork grades.
*Students are expected to complete and learn 5 or more Topics per week (approximately 40-60 minutes/week) in the ALEKS program.
*Additionally, students should practice basic multiplication and division facts each day/night.
*Weekly classwork/homework can include a Google Classroom Challenge as well as Minute Math, Math Mysteries, and/or Weekly Spiral Review Practice, which reviews previously learned concepts throughout the school year.
*Classwork not completed during class MUST be completed during LAP or at home.
*Super STEM Magazines will be assigned monthly to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving of real-world math problems. This can be worked on during Math Stations, LAP, at home, or as part of our Kids' Choice Activities during class. The online component serves as a terrific resource and includes videos as well as games!
*Mr. J Videos
