You can choose a photo to set as your Gmail picture. This image shows up when someone sees your name in their email inbox or chat list.

On your computer, a new tab
In the top right, click the 3 dots
Then click Settings.
Under You and Google - click manage your Google account.
Find Personal Info.
Click your profile picture.​
Pick a photo.
Click set profile photo.
