Watch this video and do the discussion. Look at the story mountain activity and have students label the parts of the story. Then have them create a list of story conflicts as a class.
Watch the video for "Click, Clack, Moo!" and think about the setting (on a farm), the characters (Farmer Brown, Cows, Chickens, Ducks and other animals), and the problems they have to solve.
Fill out the story map for "Click, Clack, Moo!" as a class, then have students begin creating their setting in AutoDraw.
