Important Date to Remember: Tuesday, May 5 Informational Meeting in M208 during lunch with Coach Ellis

What will the tryouts be like? 

On Day 1, Coach Ellis will warm-up the auditionees and teach a short hip-hop combo. The students will not be judged on this day; it is purely for learning. 

On Day 2, Coach Ellis will warm-up the auditionees and teach a short jazz or contemporary combo. The students will not be judged on this day, it is purely for learning. 

On Day 3, each auditionee will be broken into groups of 3 or 4 and will have an allocated time to perform the learned combos in front of our panel of judges.

Judges might ask interview questions at the end of the audition. 

How to dress for your audition:

Please wear black pants, leggings, or shorts and a fitted top of your choice. If hair is long, please pull it back so your face is shown. Judges will be looking at your performance abilities through body language. Consider wearing light make-up to highlight your facial expressions.
