Tidal energy is an efficient way to create energy without burning fossil fuels. How tidal energy works is the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun create tides. These turbines take advantage of the high tide and low tide, once high tide comes in, the water comes through a dam. Once it comes through it spins a turbine which produces electricity and energy.

They’re other ways to create energy from water. If you drop a turbine using the same mechanics as a wind turbine the water will turn the turbine. These turbines will be much more efficient than wind turbines because water is 800 times denser than air.

Another way is mobile turbines, these work the same way as tidal turbines but they are attached to a raft. This raft can be brought around by a boat. Therefore it is accessible for any community.

Also a way to produce tidal energy is to have rafts moving with waves. The way this works is a raft has a string attached to the bottom of it. When the waves go up the raft goes up. As the raft moves up several magnets move up and down powering a generator.
