About Mrs. Cooper...

My name is Jenny Cooper and I am the gifted instructor for Rowan County Schools.  I am currently in my 18th year as an educator.  I work with students in the gifted program in grades 4-12 as well as providing enrichment services for students in grades K - 3 as part of the Primary Talent Pool. 

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education P-5, a master's degree in Teacher Leader - Reading/Writing Specialist, and I received my Rank I through becoming a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts Early and Middle Childhood, all through Morehead State University.

I love to boat on Cave Run Lake, read, spend time with my family and watch my children do what they love! I am passionate about education and I am proud to be an advocate for the gifted students of our district. 

Since graduating MSU, my husband, Josh and I, decided to make Morehead our home. We have two children, Quentin who is 13 and Bennett who is 9.
