Diana Nicolae is an accomplished documentary filmmaker with a diverse professional background. She has worked as a TV news reporter, a writer for BBC Radio, a creative director and writer, and as an advertising copywriter for Ogilvy & Mather. Her documentary films have been screened on cable television, PBS, festivals and museums around the world, and are focused on uncovering neglected stories. Professor Nicolae teaches TV Production II, Documentary Techniques, Documentary Film Production, & Experiencing Documentary [an online course]. Professor Winkler has worked on live broadcast and narrative programming for the Philadelphia Phillies, Comcast SportsNet, NFL Films/NFL Network and ESPN among others as a camera operator, editor, associate director and director. For ten years prior to joining the RTF faculty, he served as the Television Production Coordinator for the College of Communication & Creative Arts, producing numerous high-profile videos for the College and University, and advising the students of the Rowan Television Network. His research and creative work explores the integration of new technology in the presentation of live and immersive event experiences within and beyond the television medium, as well as pedagogical approaches and advancements in media production education. Cody Chrusciel oversees multimedia production and broadcasting for the athletic department at Princeton University – including partnerships with ESPN+ and NBC Sports Philadelphia – and has previously held similar positions at Army West Point and UMass, where he produced a weekly show for NBC Sports Boston. He boasts five years of broadcasting and media relations experience in minor league baseball, works as a fill-in sports anchor with SNJ Today, and serves as the radio and TV voice of Princeton football and men’s lacrosse.
Cody, who teaches Television Production I and Foundations, is a Rowan alum ('09) with degrees in Radio, Television, and Film and Broadcast Journalism. As an undergraduate, he was an active member of the Rowan Television Network (RTN) and The Whit. He earned an M.S. in Sport Management at the University of Massachusetts.
Casey has been the Television Production Coordinator/TV Technician within the College of Communication and Creative Arts at Rowan University since September 2016 and he advises the student run club (RTN) Rowan Television Network. He worked continuously within the television production industry since his graduation from Rowan University. He has held the role of director/editor for a locally produced dance show in Philadelphia. He most recently worked at WPHL-TV in Philadelphia as a multimedia journalist, videographer & editor. He started working seasonally for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2017 as a camera operator and graphics operator for their in house production “PhanaVision”. Casey is also an adjunct professor for Television Production I at Rowan University. During his free time, Casey volunteers his videography and photography services to the Pennsylvania SPCA. His hobbies include photography, videography, hiking, running, biking.
