Yampa Valley Psychotherapists: Steamboat Office
Minor in Possession Course
This is a two day course offered on scheduled weekends multiple time a year. This class fulfills the Colorado Court requirements for an MIP charge.
Students must be a minimum of 14 years old to attend.
The class begins at 10am and ends at 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The total cost of the class is $200.

Level II Alcohol Education
This class fulfills Colorado DMV and Court requirements for a DUI or DWAI case.
Education consists of 12 Classes that are each 2 hours long (a total of 24 hours).
Each class is $25 for in-person &
$30 for Zoom.

Orientation cost is a one-time payment of $100.
*Orientations are scheduled for an hour to facilitate necessary paperwork reqirements.*

6 PM on Thursday evenings
Level II Alcohol Therapy
This class fulfills Colorado DMV and Court requirements for a DUI case. You must complete your Level II Education requirement before you begin therapy.
Each class is $25 for in-person &
$30 for Zoom.
Therapy classes are offered:
10 AM on Tuesday mornings
6 PM on Tuesday evenings (Zoom Only)
6 PM on Wednesday evenings

Kalynn Smith
Kalynn is the primary provider and instructor for the DUI group therapy and education offered by Yampa Valley Psychotherapy in the Steamboat Springs Office. She has a BA in Philosophy from Georgia State University where she graduated Suma Cum Laude from the Honors Department in 2011. She went on to attain her Certified Addiction Specialist License after moving to Colorado in 2013.
Katie Graham
Katie is the Office Manager for the Steamboat location of the Yampa Valley
Psychotherapists Office. She received her certification in Medical Administration from Pima Medical Institute in 2015, and has been working in the healthcare field since that time. She is currently is working to obtain her Addiction Technician Certification. After this, she will go on to pursue an advanced degree in Health and Human Services, as well as the Certified Addiction Specialist License.

We are on the second floor of the Historic Furlong Building (above the Steamboat Trading Company and Chrysalis clothing). You must come up the stairs to the second floor to find us.
