I fell in love with dance when I was very young and never stopped moving. My high school years were spent dancing with the Leander High School Blue Belles, where I was a captain my senior year. At the University of Mississippi I danced with the drill team, The Rebelettes, and in Mississipppi: The Dance Company.

​After graduating, I began running dance programs throughout the Austin area. I directed the Leander Middle School Blue Brigade, the Hutto Hi-Steppers, the Hyde Park Prancers and Pacesetters, and began a pre-school dance program for the Williamson County YMCA. Most recently, I worked at Robertson Elementary as part of the RRISD Elementary Dance Program.

​I have been married to Brad for more than 25 years. We have two sons, both of whom are in college. Harris attends The University of Mississippi and Mitch goes to Mississippi State. When I'm not dancing, I love to read, watch college football and travel.
