Hello, my name is Rosey Woodfin. This is my seventeen year of teaching.  I have taught kindergarten, second grade and am currently in my 3rd year in TAG.   I love being a teacher and feel fortunate that I get to spend my days doing what I really love: being with children while teaching and learning at the same time. Each day is a wonderful new experience when I am working with children. I am looking forward to an amazing and exciting experience with my students.

I am a native Texan. I grew up in the West Texas area and come from a family of eight children. I worked in the electric utility industry for 12 years prior to being a stay-at-home mom for 7 years. I am married and have two grown daughters.  Both of my daughters have been in the TAG program since kindergarten.  I am very familiar with the TAG program from both parent and teacher perspectives.  My personal interests include spending time with my family, traveling, sewing, reading, knitting and gardening.

Every year I look forward to seeing new sweet faces and getting to know each child and parents.  It is my goal to create a fun, loving, nurturing environment where I am meeting the needs of all my learners.  Thank you for entrusting your child to me.  We will have a blast learning and challenging each other together!
