About Me

Background/Education:

My name is Trevor Nieveen. I was born and raised in a small town just outside of Lincoln, Nebraska. I graduated in 2005 from Norris High School. After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska where I graduated with degrees in Spanish and History in 2009. From 2011-2013 I worked at Texas A&M as an Academic Adviser and completed my Masters in English as a Second Language.

Teaching Experience:

After graduating college, I spent two years teaching English abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico and Niedersachsen, Germany. I also worked as an elementary bilingual teacher for two years. This will be my third year teaching high school Spanish.

Hobbies/Interests:

I love sports. I'm a huge Husker fan and really enjoy college football and basketball. My wife and I also really enjoy to travel, hike, and be involved in volunteer activities through our church. In total, I have been to 34 different countries. In addition to Spanish, I also speak French and German.
