Articulation

RRISD has partnered with the Austin Community College and other colleges and universities to ensure students have the opportunity to earn as many college credits in high school as possible. One key component of the academies is the availability of college credit while in high school.

Articulated credits are available to Round Rock High School students through many of the Career and Technical Education courses. Emphasis is placed on higher-level academic courses designed to prepare students for the future. Articulation agreements with community colleges (and some four-year universities) make it possible for students to follow a course of study that prepares them to obtain an associate degree, a two-year program certificate, or to enter the work force better prepared to be competent employees. Take Articulated Credit courses enable students to earn free college credit while in high school.

Students who complete these Westwood High School CTE courses have potential for gaining articulated credit. Consult with a school counselor or the course instructor for and specific conditions for that course.

Articulation agreements could change without notice.
