Dear First Grade Parents,
I hope you all have a great weekend. I loved seeing everybody's stuffies and hearing their names and fun facts about them! I love learning more about them and their interests. I would say good luck to our Longhorns with tomorrow's game but I know we will win (if we lose, please let's act like I never said anything).
Thank you to all who attended our Parent Orientation last night. I loved getting to see all of you. In Social Studies, we continued talking about the impact of various factors on relationships. In Math, first graders discussed which number sentences equal the same amount. The first graders also had fun at the Westwood Homecoming Pep Rally.
One thing from parent orientation I really want to highlight is our bedtime math link. It's a great way to practice real life math problems and it updates to a new one daily. It's free and you don't need an account. I highly recommend it!
