Inspection is the core of any competition. It is worth the most points during competitions. 42 cadets stand in an inspection where their uniforms and overall bearing as well as their knowledge.
Unarmed Drill teams practice basic marching/drill movements to be done in a precise and uniform manner. Unarmed Exhibition is an extension of Unarmed Drill, but with intricate marching and hand movements like clapping and snapping.
Armed Drill teams practice basic marching movements and commands combined with the handling of a drill rifle. Armed Exhibition is the same, but with the added movements to the handling of the drill rifle such as spinning it in the air, tossing, etc.

The Color Guard teams perform at ceremonious events and football games. Cadets present the Colors (flags) and rifles in this long-standing military tradition. The Color Guard teams also compete in drill meets throughout the year.
In this team, we practice and hone in our marksmanship. We also teach and exercise basic range safety and procedures. We train in three main positions: Prone, Standing, and Kneeling.
PT stands for Physical Training. The PT team trains to gain and maintain strength, stay fit and compete in physical competitions, such as the Tiger Challenge, against other schools. They also compete in drill meets throughout the year.
This team focuses on being able to recall information from the Naval Science Textbooks, Cadet Field Manuals, and other learned knowledge. Not only does this advance our knowledge across multiple subjects, but we also get to show our hard work when we compete against JROTC programs at drill meets.
