Hello, I'm Amanda Bindel and this is my fourth year at Spicewood and my second teaching second grade. I was the instructional technology specialist at Spicewood before that and taught middle school English Language Arts and electives and elementary TAG previously.

I've lived in Austin for 30 years, coming directly from Texas A&M with my software engineer husband. We have one daughter here with us -- Mary Elizabeth (Lizzy) is a junior at McNeil High School.

Outside of school, I love to watch Lizzy cheer for the Mavericks and enjoy visiting the ranch with my family, reading fiction, and binge-watching series.
