Interactive Atrium Project Kickoff

Students began the project by thinking about the atrium space and the students, families, and visitors that use that space. Along with the help of Mrs. Bell, they defined the problems they'd like to address, such as:

• Lack of essential agreements
• The effects of trash on living things
• The history of atrium
• Many unidentified plants & animals
• The lack of information overall in the space
• The need for storage Systems
• Empty space we referred to as the “Dead zone”

Interactivity Explore

In an effort to solve some of the problems in the atrium and make the space more interactive, students explored various ways to add interactive elements to the space by exploring museums and parks in our local area.
