Hi panthers! My name is Mrs. Chronister. I'm happy to be back for my sixth year of teaching third grade at Spicewood! I love teaching and servicing our great community of learners here at Spicewood! 

Here's a few fun facts about me: I married my best friend two years ago during Spring Break, and became a first time mom in September of last year when I had my son Cooper. I also have a eleven year old stepson named Carter who will be starting middle school in Leander ISD.  We have two dogs, Millie and Lemmy, and they are both super sweet cattle dog mixes. I love being outdoors and being active. I taught second grade overseas for six months at an IB school called the International Community School of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia right after I graduated from Texas State in January of 2018. It was such an awesome experience! 

These are a few of my favorite things: I love dark chocolate, vanilla flavored coffee, running with my pups through my neighborhood before school each day, chips and queso, all the tacos, second hand shopping and looking for unique treasures, cooking delicious meals for my family, making crafts when I have the time for it, being a big goof with my friends and family, making people laugh, and binging my favorite shows (currently it's Grey's Anatomy).   

I am truly looking forward to getting to know all of your amazing kiddos and to having another fantastic school year together in third grade! :)
