RRISD Mentor Program

Are you interested in supporting students at Sommer Elementary ?

 The RRISD mentor program needs you!

Round Rock ISD needs Mentors!  WE NEED YOU... to mentor a child! Would you like to positively impact a student’s life? Want to pour into your local community? You and your mentee will build on strengths, experience personal growth, and make connections and memories. 

Mentoring a child is a way for community members and businesses to volunteer. When you volunteer as a mentor you not only discover new things about yourself but you provide a friendship to a child who needs and wants the positive influence.

Students are nominated by campus personnel for a variety of reasons and must have a signed parental approval form on file. Once matched, mentor and student(s) meet regularly on campus during schools hours, typically during lunch. Mentors are screened, trained and carefully matched with students.
