Known Apps and Extensions That May Conflict with Don Johnston/TextHelp Universal Products
Previously Installed but Not Showing in Extension Bar
1)Make sure you're logged in and sync is turned on. If sync is disabled by Administrator, please contact SPED ITS.
2)Go to Chrome Menu (3 dots in top right)>More Tools>Extensions. Make sure the slider for the extension is turned ON.
Toolbar Loading Slow
1)Clear Cache...Go to Chrome Menu (3 dots in top right)>More Tools>Clear Browsing Data>Time Range: All Time, Check all options then click "Clear Data" button.
Icon Extension Colors
Gray Icon = Signed Out & Extension Off
Red Dot = Not Signed In
Blue Icon = Signed In & Extension On
If you do not see the extension icon for the student, make sure they are logged into Chrome.
Confirm their name is not at the top of the screen. If not, click on the icon to login.
Note: If asked to link data, click Link Data.
PRIMARY LANGUAGE - TRANSLATION
If a language is selected that says “No Voice Installed,” you can still translate the written text but there is no text-to-speech voice available.
